Things to See in Arizona

The desert as it looks when we drive to school every day.

Canyon Lake.  We actually go swimming here and it looks just like the picture.  It's BEAUTIFUL

The Biosphere 2 is about a 90 minute drive from the house.  It is a self contained environment and the public can tour and see it in action.

The Grand Canyon

This is the Grand Canyon.  It is about three hours north and an absolutely spectacular sight to see.

This natural wonder of the world is 270 miles long, three miles wide and a mile deep!!!!!  It is longer than the entire state of Connecticut!!!!

The squirrel monkeys at the Phoenix Zoo are so fun and you can walk right into the exhibit and interact with this silly little creatures.

Baseball spring training is all over.  Chicago, Texas, AZ, California, Kansas......most teams from the midwest to the west, have their training facilities here.  It's fun to watch!!!

Here we are swimming in yet another beautiful lake just miles from the house.  This is called Bartlett Lake.

The red rock of Sedona is about 1 1/2 hours away.  This is considered one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Of course, where there are cowboys, there are horses.  We have real cowboys and real Indians here!!!

Palm trees here don't have coconuts, but dates instead.  We also have all kinds of citrus trees that yield tons of fresh fruit.  Delicious!
