Well, I arrived safe and sound in Phoenix and, although the mailbox was rather hot and cramped, I was quickly picked up and taken home. Believe it or not, the first weekend was rather rainy and cold! The weather was actually better in Greenwich, CT. Now the sun is shining and it's in the eighties and breezy. It's beautiful!
Everything here is very brown and rocky. Even the lawns have what they call "desert landscaping" and are made of rocks as you can see. The houses too match the landscape! It's very different from Connecticut!!!
The kids I'm staying with are busy with school and lots of activities. We run around a lot!!! This week they all have testing so it's an early bedtime. I don't mind because I'm still not used to the time change! It's three whole hours earlier here!!! I am pooped by 5:30!!!
We're having pizza tonight! Yummy!!! They say they found a good pizza place so I'm look g forward to it! I miss you all!!!
More tomorrow! It's dinner time!
